Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms govern your use of NascentBloom. Your use of nascentbloom.com is subject to these terms of service and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Please read these terms of service carefully and contact us with any questions.

1. Who this is between

These terms are between NascentBloom (“we”, “us”) and the organisation whose account is used to reach the service (“you”, the “Publisher”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them on behalf of that organisation and confirm you may do so.

They are the whole of what we have agreed, unless we have signed a separate agreement or order form with you, in which case that document governs anything these terms contradict.

2. What the service is

The “service” is nascentbloom.com, the publisher dashboard, and the pages a reader reaches from a printed code.

It is provided as it stands and as it is available. We do not offer a service level agreement, and we will not imply one in a document you may rely on. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it for operational, security, legal or maintenance reasons, and where an interruption is planned and material we will tell you in advance.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the credentials issued to your account and for everything done through it. Accounts are for the organisation that holds them and may not be shared or resold. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

4. How you may use it

Do not use the service to:

Security research done in good faith is welcome, and is governed by the disclosure terms published on our Trust Centre rather than by this section.

We may suspend an account where it is being used unlawfully, where it threatens the security or stability of the service, or where fees have gone unpaid after written reminder. We will tell you why, and restore access once the cause is resolved.

5. Your content stays yours

Articles, images and anything else you supply remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store that material, to process it in order to generate experiences, and to serve the resulting pages to your readers. The permission is non-exclusive, exists for that purpose and no other, and ends when the content is deleted or the account closes.

We do not train any model on your content, do not share it with another publisher, and do not sell it. You confirm you hold the rights needed in what you upload, including for any third-party text or images within it.

The platform itself — its software and its design — is ours. These terms give you the right to use it, not a share in it.

6. Who can see your content

No other publisher can reach it: every query that touches your content is scoped to the account that owns it.

We can. Providing the service means being able to process your content, and the people who operate the service hold the credentials to the systems where it is stored; encryption at rest protects it from a stolen disk, not from us. Administrative diagnostics that can display article text exist so a specific fault can be chased down, sit behind a separate key, and are not part of ordinary operation. Your drafts, and the text of what you ask the assistant, are not displayed to us anywhere — and we will not change that for your account without asking you first.

7. What the platform generates

The panels, summaries, links and other material generated from your article are yours to use, publish and keep, including after the account closes. We claim no ownership over them.

You accept that:

The platform applies its own checks before anything reaches a reader, and withholds material it cannot stand behind rather than presenting it anyway. That reduces the chance of something wrong reaching a reader; it does not remove it, and we do not warrant that generated material is accurate, complete or fit for publication. The page carries your masthead, and editorial responsibility for what appears under your name stays with you.

Where a page links onward to a source elsewhere, we check that the link resolves when the experience is built. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say afterwards.

8. Readers

A reader reaching a page from a printed code needs no account and agrees to nothing. What those pages record, and what they do not, is set out in our privacy notice. Where you mark an article as written for children, the page records nothing at all and offers no free-text box.

9. Privacy and data protection

What the platform records, and for how long, is set out in the privacy notice. Producing an experience means sending material to third-party processors; we keep a list naming each of them and what reaches it, send it on request, and tell you before it changes.

For personal data in your content and in reader interactions, you are the Data Fiduciary and we act as your Data Processor under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. That relationship is governed by a separate data processing agreement, which prevails over these terms on anything to do with personal data.

10. Fees

Fees, if any, are those agreed with you in writing. Where the service is provided without charge, either of us may end it on [14] days’ notice. Changes to fees apply from the next billing period and never retrospectively.

11. Deleting things, and ending the agreement

You may delete any article, or close your account, from the dashboard at any time. Deleting an article removes everything generated from it; closing the account removes your articles, analytics, drafts and assistant history with it. Deletion is not reversible, so keep your own copies of anything you need.

Pages already printed continue to resolve for as long as the service runs. If we ever discontinue it, we will give you [90] days’ notice and a way to export your content and analytics before anything is deleted.

12. What we do not warrant

The service and everything it generates are provided as they stand. Beyond what these terms say expressly, and to the extent the law allows, we give no other warranties — including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

13. Who is liable for what

Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the [12] months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

If someone brings a claim against us because of what you published through the service, or because you broke these terms, you will defend us against it and cover what it costs.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Where a change materially reduces your rights we will give you [30] days’ notice by email to your account address before it takes effect, and you may end the agreement within that period if you do not accept it. Other changes take effect when published, and the date at the top of this page moves.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Contact

Write to [email protected], which reaches a person rather than a queue.
